National Beach Day might make you think of sandcastles and waves – but for us, it’s also a reminder of how children learn through all their senses.

🏖️ The Infants information talks about treasure baskets and heuristic play – different materials to explore safely.
👣 Secure outdoor areas at each nursery add another layer: fresh air, changing weather, different surfaces.
🧠 All of this sits under the EYFS focus on physical development and understanding the world.

You don’t need a coastline for children to experience textures, movement and wonder – it starts with thoughtful environments and curious minds.

As September gets closer, lots of families start wondering: “Is my child nursery‑ready?”

❓ The New England page, Infants page and socials talk about: children from 3 months joining; small steps into routines; support from key persons.
🧠 Readiness isn’t about knowing letters or numbers – it’s more about being supported through change.
🤝 Busy Bunnies uses Tapestry, key persons and clear communication to help families through that transition.

If you’re looking at August 2026 and feeling unsure about starting, ask away – questions are part of getting ready too.

National Dog Day is a fun reminder of loyalty, routine and big feelings – all things children know a lot about.

🐶 At Busy Bunnies, the Daily Schedule balances familiar structure with space to explore.
🧡 That predictability helps children feel secure, just like a well‑loved pet feels secure in a caring home.
👀 The nurseries are described as “home away from home,” with staff who get to know each child’s quirks, comforts and needs.

Love, routine and a safe place to come back to – it’s not so different from what our four‑legged friends need too.

The Daily Schedule page talks about balance – but what does that really look like in principle?

⚖️ Children have time for free play, where they follow their own ideas.
🍎 There are built‑in times for meals and snacks, supporting health and routine.
🌿 Outdoor play is a regular feature, connecting children with movement and nature.
👥 Group times give chances for communication, listening and social skills.

It’s not about cramming the day full – it’s about creating a rhythm where children feel secure, stimulated and rested.

Curious how a Busy Bunnies place actually gets confirmed? The Admissions and FAQ pages give a clear picture.

📝 You submit an application form with your details and preferred sessions.
📞 A staff member reviews it and confirms when a place is accepted.
📃 Terms and conditions outline things like notice periods, payments and expectations, so everyone’s on the same page.

It’s a simple process, but it’s backed by clear policies designed to keep things fair and transparent for families and the nursery.

World Humanitarian Day is about people who care for others – something that resonates strongly in early years.

🌍 Busy Bunnies’ ethos is built around nurturing, safety and respect.
🛡️ Safeguarding is taken seriously, with designated safeguarding leads and safer recruitment across all nurseries.
🤝 The Parents page emphasises partnership with families, recognising how important loving, consistent adults are.

When children experience kindness, security and fairness early on, it shapes how they see themselves and others later in life. That’s a quiet kind of humanitarian work happening every day.

Behind the fun and play, quality really matters in early years.

🏆 New England has a GOOD Ofsted rating, recognising its strong curriculum and focus on getting children ready for school.
🦷 It has also achieved the 2025–2026 MySmile Award for promoting oral health.
📚 Busy Bunnies as a group is committed to excellence in teaching and learning, building a curriculum around EYFS and the Three I’s.

For parents, those badges aren’t about bragging rights – they’re reassurance that there’s substance behind the smiles.

National Son & Daughter Day is all about celebrating the little humans at the centre of everything we do.

💛 Busy Bunnies was built around the idea that each child’s mind is “a garden waiting to bloom” (as the team often says on socials).
🧒 Our New England and Braybrook nurseries welcome children from 3 months–5 years; Hampton Water from 2–5 years.
🌱 The curriculum and daily routine are designed to support social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth through play.

However your family is made up, your children arrive with their own spark. We’re here to help that spark grow.
