Sometimes in order to have something new, you need to let go of something old.
In order to have new beliefs about yourself or the world, you need to let go the old beliefs you were carrying around with you.
In order to become a new person, you need to let the old person go. Let go of the things (habits, emotions, thoughts) and create new ones, better ones, which YOU choose consciously.
Clear up your closet. Get rid of the old, not fitting you anymore clothes to make a space for the new ones, which you choose.
So often we hold on to the “old” things which doesn’t serve us/ fit us anymore, because we fear new, we are scared of unknown.
What if the new will be worse than the old one?
What if it’s a mistake?
What if I am not ready for change?
Our mind tends to focus on what we can lose instead of what we can gain, and we never move forward in life. We want guarantees which life can’t give us because the life inherent nature is UNKNOWN. The moment you fully accept that fact, that life is unknown, and you become OK with it, then the sea of possibilities will open up for you. When you embrace life and its uncertainty as something good, something to be excited about, to be curious about what life holds for you, then you will truly start living the life full of freedom, joy and peace.
