Deaf Day is this Saturday 6th April held at Cit lit Keeley Street London - Communicating Hands will be there selling our great resources - Flash cards, our new great posters- the alphabet and numbers , IRead books which are suitable for deaf and hearing children. We are in Room 408 and we hope to see you there.

COMMUNICATING HANDS has another BABY SIGNING BEGINNERS 8 week course starting on 31st October at 11am

These classes are full of great songs to sign and fun activities. You will learn which signs to show your baby, when to start signing, how to make the signs and how using signs can enhance speech and help reduce frustration for both baby and their parents or caregiver.

Please let anyone know that you think will be interested in these classes. Suitable for pre-verbal babies from 5 months to 2 years.

SIGN FOR READING SUCCESS: Suitable for children age 2 years+ ( if children have signed as babies then 16 months +) Learning to read is not like learning to speak. children learn their native language naturally, but this does not happen with the reading process. Reading has to be taught. These are fun interactive sessions, you're learn new songs, activities that help to engage your children, interactive story telling, learning letters and sounds with our Flash Cards, songs and games. Children gain confidence and an enthusiasm in these classes for Reading!
