๐ Year 1 Visit to Hunstanton ๐
As part of our Parnwell Promise โ ensuring all pupils have access to rich and diverse experiences that support their learning โ our Year 1 children enjoyed a fantastic trip to Hunstanton!
The children had a wonderful time exploring the beach, searching for shells and fossils, enjoying their packed lunch on the green, and finishing the day with a wellโearned ice cream in the sunshine โ๏ธ๐ฆ
These realโlife experiences will help bring their class text, The Snail and the Whale, to life and deepen their understanding back in school. A brilliant day full of smiles, learning and seaside fun! ๐๐

๐ Celebrating 100 Years of Sir David Attenborough ๐
To mark the incredible 100th birthday of Sir David Attenborough, children from across our school came together to celebrate their love of the natural world ๐๐
Each child drew their favourite animal, and these small, individual artworks were then carefully brought together to form a giant โ100โ โ a powerful reminder that every young voice and every creature matters.
From roaring lions to tiny insects, the range of animals reflects the curiosity, creativity and care our children have for the planet we all share. Thank you, Sir David, for inspiring generations to explore, protect and cherish the natural world.

๐โจ We had the privilege of welcoming Virtual School for powerful teacher training on traumaโinformed practice.
The session used virtual reality headsets, allowing our staff to step into the shoes of children and experience how different types of trauma can shape the way they feel, behave, interact, and learn.
It was a fantastic, insightful, and truly eyeโopening experienceโhighlighting the realities many children face, often without others even being aware.
Weโre committed to understanding our pupils more deeply and continuing to build a school environment where every child feels seen, safe, and supported. ๐
