We were very lucky to have the opportunity to see a real steam engine!
A big thank you to Gavin, who spoke to the children and explained how the engine is powered using coal. The children were inspired, building their own trains and exploring roles. We’re very excited for the Vintage Festival, where they’ll have the chance to ride a steam engine themselves!

📚 All classes have had enjoyable library visits 📚
We love getting out into the community, and all classes have now visited Yaxley Library. These visits gave every child the opportunity to enjoy books, explore the space, and learn how a library works — including how to choose books and use the library responsibly.

Tommy Tortoise is loving the warm sunshine today and spending time outdoors with the children. He’s been exploring the grass and enjoying a little munch on a dandelion! 🌼💛

We had a special visitor in assembly today — Peter Burrow, the Peterborough United mascot! ⚽🐰 The children loved meeting him and learning more about football. Each child will soon receive a free admission voucher for one child and one adult to attend a match!
