Strong Roots does Wild Swimming

What a gorgeous morning swimming in the Rill with one of my besties from Peterborough Dog Walking and the most beautifully behaved pups!

The water was so clear. We got the scuba masks out, spotted loads of little fish, skimmed rocks, saw the horses and had a proper swim with the dogs.

Obviously swimming wasn't quite feral enough for Strong Roots, so the children found a muddy bank and turned it into their own mud slide. Because why get in the water clean when you can launch yourself in absolutely filthy?

What a Wonderful way Tuesday ❤️

🌿 Forest School fun today! 🌿

We picked juicy raspberries,
created beautiful nature prints by hammering leaves and berries onto fabric, 🍃
made clay faces on tree trunks, 🪾
practised our drilling skills in wood,
and had lots of fun learning how to skim stones across the water! 🍓🍃🪵🪨💦

🚂 All aboard... ready for our next adventure! 🚂✨

Today our little explorers hopped on and off a heritage steam train 🚂 discovering new places along the way.
We enjoyed a picnic in the sunshine ☀️
spotted wildlife and animals from our train ride, met a balloon artist who made us amazing balloon creations, 🎈
and filled our day with adventure, laughter and memories. ☀️🧺🎈🌳

From space-themed crafts to dressing up as little astronauts, the children had an absolute blast exploring the universe through play! 🌟

Our fearless little explorers didn't just learn about exotic animals... they got to HOLD them! 🤩

There were nervous giggles, wide eyes, huge smiles, brave little hands and unforgettable moments start to finish! 💚

Watching the children's confidence grow with every animal they met was simply magical. ✨

We accept all funded places, including term-time only contracts, and we welcome children of all ages into our setting.

Our fees are a competitive £6.50 per hour with no hidden charges.

We also only ask for a fully refundable deposit to secure your child's place, giving you complete peace of mind.
