What a brilliant morning exploring the amazing work of the people who help keep us safe! A HUGE thank you to Thorpe Wood Police Station for welcoming us in, taking our fingerprints, answering all of our questions, letting us press the sirens repeatedly, try on the police hat, and even have a go with the handcuffs! We had the absolute BEST morning ❤️

We had a truly wonderful visit to Drawn to Wonder Studio set within the breathtaking grounds of Lamport Hall. This session was hosted by the lovely Nicola, whose "process over product" philosophy is exactly what we look for in art. It was a spectacular full-body experience, complete with a beautiful light-sensory room themed around Earth Day and inspired by Luke Jerram’s Gaia bringing back such fond memories of seeing the installation at Peterborough Cathedral years ago (spot the baby Reg and Nina!).
The setting is absolutely stunning and, with the numbers kept deliberately low, it is the perfect environment for any budding Picasso. We were so impressed that we’ve actually secured a monthly private session in her studio starting soon! We cannot recommend Nic’s public sessions enough and already find ourselves counting down the days until we return.

As most people know, we’re a family of doers—so “relaxing holidays” aren’t really our thing 😂 With ADHD running riot through our house, we’re all about adventure, just like we are in our everyday lives.

This Easter, we headed back for one of our twice-yearly trips to Woolacombe for some surfing. After years of the kids attending surf school, I really wanted to share what a fantastic option it is if you’re planning a UK staycation this year.

We surf with Surfing Woolacombe and stay at Woolacombe Bay Lodges both have been amazing for us. River iscan find new experiences challenging, and Reg is autistic, but every single child has been supported so beautifully here. It’s inclusive, welcoming, and genuinely understanding and to date they how now Schooled all our 6 children to surf which is Incredible .

It’s affordable, great fun, and has given us some of our most special family memories over the years.. also Coming in at under 700 with surfing for the week evening entertainment, the UK's best beach just a 10 minute walk and Evening entertainment Hotub and pools it's a Crazy deal ! 🌊

🐱 **Patches** – our famous tuxedo rescue cat! He welcomes everyone in, loves a fuss, and has even been spotted chilling in a dolly pram… completely by choice 😂

👑 **Priscilla (4)** – our silver-tipped white Persian queen. Also a rescue, she prefers the quiet life and can usually be found ruling the laundry room away from the chaos.

🐾 **Mango (9 months)** – our cheeky Scottish Straight! ALWAYS up to mischief and usually found playing tag with the kids… whether he’s supposed to or not 😅

🐶 **Egon Spengler (8)** – our wise Yorkshire Terrier (yes, named after Ghostbusters 😂). Loves the kids… but loves naps even more!

💖 **Lady (2)** – the most popular of them all! First to greet you, last to say goodbye. She lives for cuddles, kids, and makes sure no one gets left behind on walks 🐕

All of our animals have been raised around children it’s all they’ve ever known. The kids love them just as much as they love the kids 🥰
