Been a little busy recently but here are some of the special crafts the toddlers made their mummys for mothers day ❤️

After two years of childminding here is my first ofsted report!

The children love painting their hands so we created poppy reefs

Little hands exploring textures and making tracks, be lovely watching these hands grow and develop over the next few months. They’ve all settled in so well

Today our children looked into how we can start to protect our environment by recycling. The children were very good at identifying which bin the rubbish goes in.

After watching our caterpillars turn to butterflies we created our own

Over the last week we have been watching our caterpillars form a cocoon and grow into five beautiful butterflies. We have one more to release into the garden today.
As we’ve been playing in the garden we have seen them fly past for a visit.

This morning we have been focusing on the book Dear Zoo, we used the cards to go around the room and describe the textures of different things we could feel, one child put the elephant against the wall and said "that's not my Elephant, it's ears are too rough."
We explored making different animal sounds from the book and watched a short video of a trip to the zoo, we named some of the animals we could see and noises they made!
We then used the toy animals and made lovely animal footprint pictures using a variety of coloured paints!
