Year 2 had the best time visiting Sacrewell Farm, bringing their learning to life in such an exciting and hands-on way! ๐
From meeting the animals to exploring the farm, the children were full of curiosity, enthusiasm, and smiles all day long ๐ It was fantastic to see them making real-life connections and enjoying every moment of the experience.
What a wonderful day of learning outside the classroomโmemories made and learning brought to life! ๐

๐ถ A Wonderful Musical Experience! ๐ถ
Our EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils had an incredible opportunity to take part in a special performance of Tale of the Whale with Britten Sinfonia ๐๐
It was amazing to see our children performing alongside such talented musicians, showing confidence, enthusiasm, and a real love of music. This creative and engaging performance truly brought the story to life and allowed pupils to be part of something unforgettable ๐ป

๐น Year 5 Skateboarding! ๐น
Year 5 had an amazing time during their skateboarding lesson! ๐
It was fantastic to see so much teamwork, determination, and resilience on display as pupils supported one another, tried something new, and kept goingโeven when it felt challenging ๐ช
There were lots of smiles, a few wobbles, and plenty of progressโwell done Year 5! ๐

Our Forest School and Forest Church area has been completely transformed, and we couldnโt be more grateful. This incredible project has only been possible thanks to the time, effort, and careful planning from our amazing volunteers, as well as the generous donation of tools, resources, and equipment. ๐
Thanks to your hard work, we now have:

๐ชด Planters and a vegetable patch
๐ฅ A fire pit
๐๏ธ A shelter
๐ชต Action spots for exploration
๐ A tunnel and bridge
A special thank you to everyone from Werrington Parish, our dedicated staff, families, and children. Your willingness to volunteer your time, energy, and resources has made such a differenceโwe are truly overwhelmed by the support.

A huge thank you to the amazing volunteers from Werrington Parish and our wonderful school community who joined Miss Lenton this Saturday to begin preparations for our Fix-Up Day. ๐
They worked tirelessly to start building the structures for our new shelter and bridgeโwhat a fantastic effort! ๐ These improvements are going to make such a difference to our Forest Church and Forest School environment, creating a special space for learning, reflection, and exploration.
A very special thank you as well to Mr Hunt and Miss Travers who have worked incredibly hard behind the scenes to plan and preapre for our Fix-Up Day and design this new environment. Mr Hunt's careful planning and calculations have already helped create a brilliant structure and he has ensured we have everything we needโwe canโt wait to see it all come together next week! ๐

Our Year 4 residential last week! โต๐งโโ๏ธ
From working together while sailing to climbing high on Jacobโs Ladder, the children showed amazing teamwork, courage, and determination. ๐ช
They encouraged each other, faced new challenges, and had lots of fun along the way. Itโs been wonderful to see their confidence grow and their friendships shine!

From aiming for the target in archery to balancing and paddling on the water, the children showed great focus, bravery, and teamwork. ๐ช
They supported each other, tried new challenges, and had lots of fun along the way. We are so proud of their positive attitudes and willingness to give everything a go!
