Eyrescroft Primary School

This afternoon we handled Victorian artefacts and thought about what they are used for. We also played parlour games, which are still played by the royal family each Christmas day!

We're having a wonderful day so far, we've toured the kitchen and grand hall, learnt about the servants who worked at Burghley and learnt about Queen Victoria's life.

We've arrived at Burghley and are meeting Queen Victoria!

If you go to Bretton Centre tomorrow pop in to the Church of the Holy Spirit, and vote for our Eco Christmas tree. Each class made a different eco friendly decoration ❤️

Eco and school council have been busy baking cakes to sell at sports day tomorrow, all proceeds go towards new play equipment 😍

Today, we've visited York Minster. We found lots to interest us and spent time drawing.

And a boat trip this afternoon!

Followed by some archaeological work at The Dig.
