Jungle Tots Day Nursery Peterborough
Jungle Tots is a high-quality, bright and homely day nursery for the children and families of Bretton
Itβs not every May that we get a heatwave π₯΅
And the best way to deal with it, is to get outside in the Jungle Tots Garden for some wet playtime!
Changes of clothes are DEFINITELY needed for all involved, but itβs worth it for the chance to cool down on a sunny day! βοΈ
Have you had your show around yet? We have some spaces and would love to see if this the right fit for your little one!

The Gazelles have been busy bees this week enjoying lots of creative and sensory activities! πΈπ
The children had great fun decorating their beautiful flower pictures using colourful dot pens and worked together to colour in a giant caterpillar in the tuft tray using soft cotton pads. ππ¨
They also loved exploring the hammer game, helping to develop their hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills through play. Alongside this, the children became little scientists as they experimented with baby oil and food colouring, creating lots of wonderful colour mixing and patterns πβ¨
It has been a fantastic week so far full of creativity, exploration, and hands-on learning for our busy Gazelles!

The Gazelles have been getting their hands dirty in the tuff trays with cocoa powder and some bugs for good measure! ππͺ±π¦
This exciting sensory activity tied in perfectly with our Mini Beasts topic for May, giving the children the chance to explore, investigate, and learn through messy play. The children loved searching through the cocoa βsoilβ for insects, talking about the different mini beasts they could find, and using their imaginations as they explored the tray. π±β¨
We also have some very special little visitors joining us β our wonderful caterpillars! π The children are very excited to observe the life cycle of a butterfly and watch the amazing transformation take place over the coming weeks. Keep an eye on our page for more pictures and updates as our tiny friends continue to grow! π¦π
To finish off the fun, the children got creative with some insect-inspired artwork, using bug printing to make colourful and imaginative masterpieces. π¨π
