The December Gradings draw near… and among our ranks, four students stand on the edge of legend — ready to attempt the near-mythical Grandmaster Rank. ⚔️

A Grandmaster is more than a title. It’s proof of mastery — both Red and Purple Sash, single blade and dual blade, perfected through years of focus, discipline, and unbreakable spirit. It is the highest honour within Phoenix Sabre Academy UK — the summit of over four years of relentless training.

These warriors are not only shaping their own destiny… they may one day become Class Assistants, Instructors, and mentors to the next generation of Phoenix fighters.

🔥 Another electrifying session this week as we launched our very first tournament in the brand-new venue! The energy was sky-high, the fights were fierce, and every match had the crowd on edge. Huge credit to our centre refs who stepped up brilliantly—showing real authority, composure, and confidence under pressure. What a way to kick things off!

We’re settling in beautifully at our brand-new venue and the feedback’s clear — everyone’s loving the extra room to train! 💪⚔️

Our Red and Purple Sashes have already begun their epic journey into dual-wielding and saberstaff mastery, and to top it off, Instructor Ross has treated himself to a shiny new hilt (got to keep up with the students 😉).

We can’t wait to light up the floor again tonight — class kicks off at 7pm at Hampton Gardens School. Bring your energy, bring your blades, and we’ll see you there! ✨
