🎉 Exciting News for Our School Community! 🎉

We are delighted to share that Leighton Primary and Preschool has been selected as a winner in the Schools and Families Programme prize draw with National Numeracy!

We have received an amazing bundle of maths resources and games worth £1,500 to help support and develop our children’s numeracy skills.

We are incredibly excited to use these fantastic resources in school and would like to say a huge thank you to National Numeracy for their support.

A big thank you, Julia, Samira and Kaiya! 🇫🇷 We really enjoyed your second French lesson with Octopus class. It was engaging and well planned. Our pupils loved it.

Coral Class had a lovely time enjoying an Easter egg hunt in the spring sunshine yesterday! The children had lots of fun searching for eggs and working together, with plenty of smiles along the way.

Spring has sprung at Leighton!

Our garden is coming to life, with these beautiful daffodils brightening up the grounds and reminding us that warmer, sunnier days are on the way.

A fantastic time was had by all the Year 6 children that attended the residential trip. As the pictures show, they enjoyed an action-packed three days at PGL Dearne Valley, taking part in exciting activities and working together as a team.
The trip was full of fun, laughter, and new experiences, creating special memories that will last a long time. Overall, it was a wonderful and successful visit enjoyed by everyone.
