🎉Today we had a lovely visit from Anna, who works at Asda and is part of a community partnership with us. She spent some time with the children in the 3-5 room, outside in the garden playing on the boat. The children really enjoyed the experience and were very happy to have received more activity booklets from Asda.✏️ We look forward to this continued partnership between Asda and The Wendy House! 🎉🏠😍

A big thank you to our community partner Asda for kindly donating these lovely activity books, colouring pads and sticker packs to The Wendy House.

Our children are going to love using these during creative play, quiet times and small group activities.

Donations like these make such a lovely difference to our children's day and we really appreciate Asda for thinking of us.

We were delighted to get a visit from some friendly firefighters today! 👨‍🚒👩‍🚒 The children had so much fun learning about what a fire fighter does and also got to climb and sit inside the fire engine! 🚒 What an exciting day! We would like to thank Perth Fire Station for spending time with us today and giving the children a fun, wonderful experience! 🚒

Baby Room Availability
The Wendy House has immediate and August 25 availability in our beautiful, intimate baby room, where your baby will receive care of the highest standards by qualified, experienced and nurturing staff.

At the Wendy House our Children benefit from.
• A Curiosity Accredited Setting, the first in Tayside and 3rd in Scotland to achieve this award, where our children develop their imaginations, creativity, social, language and thinking skills through curiosity, wonder and intrigue about the world around them and develop a real passion for learning.
• High quality outdoor learning with our 2-3’s spending the whole day outdoors in a wonderful outdoor covered classroom and garden and our 3-5’s freely accessing high quality outdoor/indoor learning opportunities on a free flow indoor/outdoor basis.
• Play spaces which are inviting, homely, beautiful and full of intrigue and wonder with the use of high quality open ended, natural and authentic resources to promote children’s learning across the curriculum.
• Very high staff to child ratios with a maximum of 24, 3-5 year olds and a maximum of 15, 2-3 year olds and maximum 9 0-2's, ensuring staff have ample time to support each and every child to reach their true potential.
• 1140 hours of free government funded childcare for eligible children.
15 children left us for school full of confidence, school readiness, independence and love of learning and here is what some of these parents said;
