Viewlands Primary Christmas Fayre🎄

We’re looking for a variety of stallholders to join us at our Viewlands Primary Christmas Fayre on Friday 27th November, 6:30pm to 8pm.

🎄£20 per table
🎄 Indoors at Viewlands Primary School
🎄 Tables provided
🎄 Access from 5pm for set up

To apply, simply send us a message on Facebook Messenger with details of what you’ll be selling. Spaces will be allocated to ensure a lovely variety of stalls for our visitors.

🫐 A HUGE thank you to everyone who came along to our Blueberry Picking Bonanza today! 🫐
We’re absolutely delighted to have raised an amazing £897 today! 🎉
That takes our total funds raised for Growing Together Playground Development to an incredible £3,997!

We’re so grateful for the support from local businesses and our wider community. Every donation is helping us get one step closer to creating a safe, inclusive and exciting outdoor space for all the children at Viewlands Primary School.

We’re proud to have donated £300 towards the Growing Together Playground Development fundraiser on behalf of Lisa Sime, our Sales Manager.

Led by a dedicated group of parents at Viewlands Primary School in Perth, the project aims to transform the school’s outdated playground into a safe, inclusive and sustainable outdoor space where every child can play, learn and enjoy time together.

Thanks to the Aviva Foundation match funding, our donation helped take the fundraiser beyond its target – a milestone that meant so much to the parents who have put their time, energy and determination into making this project happen.

It’s wonderful to see a local community come together to create something that will benefit children at Viewlands for many years to come, and we’re very pleased to have played a small part in helping them reach their goal. ❤️

We just wanted to take a moment to update everyone who has supported our Growing Together Playground Development project and say a huge thank you!

We have raised an amazing £1,700 and there is still time to donate! With Aviva match funding each donation up to £250!

We’re delighted to share that we are now in discussions with Learning Through Landscapes to secure a date for their visit, which is an exciting next step in developing our plans for the new playground.

We’re raising funds to help transform the outdoor space at Viewlands Primary School into a playground our children and community deserve.

Right now, we’re fundraising for the initial consultation, which is the first step in bringing this vision to life. If you’d like to know more about exactly what your donation will help fund, you’ll find all the details on our crowdfunding page.

Why are we fundraising for a consultation?

A few people have asked why we’re fundraising for a consultation before raising money for the playground itself.

The answer is that most major grant funders won’t consider applications without a professionally led consultation and concept design. They want to see evidence that the project has been carefully planned, reflects the views of pupils, staff, parents and the wider community, and has a clear vision.

The £990 we’re raising will fund this essential first step with Learning Through Landscapes. The consultation will gather ideas from pupils, staff, parents and the wider community, while the concept design will show what the transformed playground could look like and provide an estimated cost for the project. This information is essential when applying for grants, as funders want to know exactly what is being delivered and how much funding is needed.

Think of this as the key that unlocks future funding. By investing in this stage now, we’ll be in a much stronger position to secure the significant grants needed to create a safe, inspiring and inclusive outdoor space for current and future pupils, as well as the wider community.
