We would just like to say a huge thank you to Montrose Air Station Museum for inviting us along again this year to take part in their Open Weekend and Fly In.
What a weekend it was 💙✈️ 🚁☀️
We will be posting up our pictures in a few days, once we've got our feet back on the ground 🤪 But in the meantime, here's Team Alba having a quick 'Tea Break' before it all started again yesterday morning.
If you flew with us over the weekend, we'd love if you could add any photos of you with your pilot here, and let us know about your experience.
Thanks again to all the public who came along, making it a great success. Also a big thank you to our helpers/pilots who made up Team Alba. We couldn't have done it without you all.

We always feel so proud 😊 when one of our students take to the skies for their first solo. A few circuits with the instructor. Land, then the instructor gets out and says 'right, you're on your own for a circuit'.
Robert was with our CFI Kevin when this moment happened.

Anyone recognise this young chap.
No, not Kevin 🤣.
So pleased to say that Richard Christie is back flying with us again after passing his GST with Kevin this week, having had a couple of years break.
The smile on his face just shows how much it means to him.

We've been having too much fun in the sun 🌞
It was rare to have all the instructors together, so we decided to get a photo in the sun. Maybe they've been out too much in the sun and heat 🤣
Gyrocopter flights, fixed wing, flex wing. Everything has been out this past week.
Definitely the weather for open cockpit flying just now.

Yesterday, we had the great pleasure in flying Kevin with his mum Helen from Glasgow.

When Kevin told us he was bringing his mum for a flight in the gyrocopter with him, what he didn't tell us was that his mum was 88yrs old (she was happy for us to say her age 🎂)
We always say age is just a number. And having an experience like that at Helen's age, has now made them wonder what she's going to take on next.

The smile on her face just shows how much she loved the experience, and I think Kevin enjoyed his flight too.
Congratulations on taking your first flight in the gyro Helen (and Kevin) and let us know what you'd like to do next ? 🚁❤️
