Dear Parents, Students and Friends. I'm sure that most of you know that I've stopped teaching at PMS. However I've left you in the very
Capable hands of Octavia teaching guitar and Jade teaching Keyboard. I'm also now using my stage name Ronald Simone, which is better known outside the UK, and I will be promoting PMS, at live Gigs.

RONALD’S BLOG: OCTOBER 26 2020
I started the Music School Officially in 1978. I did have students from my early days in music, and I had about six students in Kilmarnock. Parents would come over to me at a gig ask me to give lessons to their children. I got started by giving them a lesson at their home. I eventually saw the potential in this and posted an advertisement in the Kilmarnock Standard for 3 weeks, for guitar and accordion. I got so many enquiries for lessons, I had a waiting list. The next step was to convert a small room in our two bedroom flat. This changed everything for me, although I was working from home teaching I still did gigs, and it was regular work. To this very day the music school has been an amazing journey.
Sadly Mary died in 1994 from cancer and we had 2 children, Simon was 14 and Gail was 4. This was a very difficult time for us. This pic was taken after the funeral. There is a follow-through to this story, but I’ll leave this until the next blog.
