📣📣 A reminder that Kids Club is open this week 24th-28th August for afternoon sessions only.

There will be no morning breakfast club sessions for this week.

We are aiming to be open fully for both sessions the week beginning 31st August.

After a long and beautiful 6 weeks we are so excited to welcome back the kids to the Carse Kids Club on Tuesday 18th August.

Our system has rolled over all of the contracts from before Summer and it should be simple to amend them to match your needs for this Term.

A reminder that we are progressing well with the hiring of our new manager, however we will be running only the afternoon sessions for the initial two weeks of term
-week beginning 17th and 24th August.

We were sad to say goodbye to our fantastic Manager Rachael at the start of the Summer break. She has been amazing in getting the Kids Club off the ground and thriving this last year.

We are however looking for someone interested in taking up the role of Manager.

Please contact [email protected] if you or someone you know would be a great fit for us. We are happy to send a Job Profile and answer any questions.

We are looking for notes of interest by 26th July.

📢📢📢Last call for parent/carer feedback forms to be returned!

We appreciate any feedback to help us improve the service provided.

Anyone with forms already, please return these by Wednesday the 1st of July at the latest.

If anyone would like to complete one, feel free to pop in to after school club on Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon.

What a busy term we have had here at Carse Kids Club! 🦉✨️

Here is a round up of just some of the activities the children have taken part in...

After the Easter holidays, we introduced fortnightly topics. Our first topic was the life cycle of a butterfly. 🦋
The children were very excited to come back to 5 little caterpillars. 🐛
Over 6 weeks we watched them grow, cocoon and then successfully turn into 5 beautiful butterflies! 🦋

This lead on to our next topic, healthy/unhealthy foods. (We enjoyed the story - The Very Hungry Caterpillar) 🍏🍓
The children took part in a variety of different activities to learn about foods that are healthy for us and some that are not so healthy.

The children then chose to learn more about bugs. 🐜🐞🦟🐝
We made salt dough bugs, bug fossils using playdough and lots of bug arts & crafts!

Our last topic this term has been dinosaurs. 🦖🦕
We have enjoyed dinosaur small world play, dinosaur yoga, dinosaur paintimg and lots more!

This is not even including our drawing club and baking club!
Some of the children took part in creating their own comic books and were learning about the different stages of creating a comic book. 📝💭💥🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️
At baking club we were learning how to use knives safely while chopping different foods, weighing ingredients and being safe around the ovens. We made lots of different sweet & savoury foods such as healthy pizza's, cakes, cheese twists, biscuits and more! 🧁🍕🍪

Carse Kids Club will close for the summer at 12pm on Thursday the 2nd of July.

Carse Kids Club will be running a stall at the Highland Games on Saturday the 6th of June.

We have some fun activities planned for the children to take part in! 🍀🏆🐻🗺🖍

We are on the look out for a donation of 3 prizes for our 'guess where the treasure is' game!
This could be a notebook, a small toy car, a bag of (nut free) sweeties, a small teddy..
