🌞 We are officially a Sun Safe Nursery! 🌞

To complete and gain this accreditation , we have;

*Ensured a Sun Safe Policy is in place

*Provided an environment that helps keep children and staff safe in the sun

*Built on the children's knowledge regarding sun safety

*Worked alongside parents to enforce healthy sun safety habits

We are excited to continue staying safe while having fun in the sun through wearing sunhats, sun cream and spending time in shaded areas. 🌞

Celebrating World book day with our children today. Lots of children dressed up in costumes and brought their favourite book in to read with their friends. 📚

Benefits of reading with children;

Early reading in the first few years of life enhances brain development, builds vocabulary, and strengthens emotional bonds between children and caregivers.

Reading boosts language comprehension, sparks imagination, and fosters a lifelong love for learning while improving concentration and empathy.

To maximize these benefits, it is recommended to make reading a daily, interactive, and enjoyable routine, allowing children to choose books and encouraging them to ask questions. 🌟
