Hi all

There’s a big fire along Arran Road which means the road is closed to all vehicles and pedestrians.

I’m not sure how long it’ll be closed for but it might affect our access to the dojo tonight. I’ll keep an eye on it and if it’s still closed at 5:30ish then I’ll cancel the class.

Super proud of all student from Perth and Cupar who stepped onto the mats today for their grading. A lot of them it was first grading, which is always a tough one. It’s a huge learning curve so take the lessons from it and keep building, pass or fail.

Thanks as always to Caroline, Bob and Cam for their help in getting everyone ready. And the support of our other high grades for their patience and support. Shout out to Amelia for coming along to support the team and lending a hand rounding everyone up and get them warmed up.

Right back to training next week! 💪🏻

I had a great time in East Neuk last night running a kicking class for the team there.

🦵We worked on drills to improve technique, strength and flexibility for kicking.

Great to see everyone engaged and receptive to my ramblings. Thanks so much to Sensei Steve Mackay and Sensei Kirsty McAlpine for the invite.

With most people on holiday, I’m going to cancel tonight’s class.

Saturdays will run as normal right through the holidays but Thursdays will depend on numbers and instructor availability, taking it week at a time.

If you can let me know when you’ll be missing training during the holidays, that’ll be incredibly helpful in planning classes or deciding whether to run/cancel them.

Enjoy your break, train when you can, see you on Saturday 💪🏻
