Currently recruiting. MOT TESTER

Day-to-day duties
Performing MOT tests in line with DVSA standards
Identifying vehicle defects and failures
Keeping up to date with current MOT testing guidelines and best practices
Maintaining accurate documentation and records of inspections
Providing exceptional customer service and technical advice

What we're looking for:
Qualified Technician - Minimum level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance certification (level 3 preferred)
Experienced & Skilled - Solid background in an MOT testing role
DVSA Tester Certification
Team Player - Able to work efficiently alone or with colleagues
Full UK Driving Licence
Detail-Oriented - Committed to delivering high-quality work.

Current Vacancy : Service Advisor / Workshop controller

Due to an upcoming retirement, we require a new enthusiastic Service Advisor/Workshop controller.
You will be responsible for the day to day loading of the workshop, liaising with customers and Technicians, pricing jobs and procuring parts at the best prices for our customers.
Gathering data and symptoms from customers to assist repairs and explaining clearly to customers about their vehicle requirements, timescale of repairs and costs.
The candidate must be enthusiastic and willing to learn. As this is a retirement issue, full training will be given by our current Service advisor on a one to one basis as required prior to control being passed on, from customer care to accurate invoicing.
This role will ideally suit someone with a degree of parts or workshop knowledge.
Active Service is a family business established in 2006, we are known for our fair and honest approach to vehicle repairs and you would be expected to maintain and strive to improve our reputation.
Working hours would be 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday

Salary will be based on experience
