We were multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1000 tonight and not only did Olly get them all correct but he was also the proud winner of our Bingo game. Well done Olly 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻!

Evie has been learning to find fractions of a number. We started counting out real examples with practical materials, made a poster and played this game. Definitely grasped this concept now 🤩.

Tonight Isla was cutting up playdough “worms” to develop her understanding of decimal fractions. We also looked at decimal fractions as normal simple fractions and discussed how money is a form of decimal fraction. Great effort from Isla and good to hear her asking questions to clarify and deepen her understanding - well done 🤩

Great work tonight remembering the two step process to solve these multiplication sums. We started off with multiples of 10 and then looked at how to use the same principle with multiples of 100 and 1000.

Joe has been desperate to get outside so tonight we played some games in the garden to practise recognising new reading vocabulary - turned into a full on workout too! 😁 Great effort!
