Spring equinox celebrations! I'm so excited for the warmer weather! We made an alter to appreciate just how amazing nature is. Which branched off into loose part play. This face is amazing 😍. We discussed all the different ways spring equinox is celebrated globally.
My personal favourites are 'Holi' in North India where people throw colourful powdered paint around.
Bosnia where they celebrate with a 'festival of scrambled eggs'.
And finally Gloucester's cheese rolling competition down a hill. 😆

***ANNOUNCEMENT****
I love childminding and it genuinely brings me more gratitude in my day to day life. Especially being around young children who are just so positive and enquisitive about the world.

However, my health is in decline. I am only 30 and have been reluctant to make any huge decisions. Im also aware that childcare in Errol is limited and didn't want any negative impact on the families i work with. I have been gradually cutting back since this time last year.

Now it's time to introduce my new business venture. will provide communication and learning aids as well as cute personalised bits. I will also be providing a consultation service where we can plan personalised materials to support your child. Keep an eye out for Christmas bits coming soon. 👀

I will be remaining open to my current clients and by all means still enquire as your needs may be compatible with the work I am already providing. I'd love your support in following my new Instagram page .

Dandelion play doh!
Yesterday morning started out with a lovely walk. We spotted dandelions in every stage of their cycle. The children seemed interested so we collected some and discussed the importance of leaving the rest for the bees 🐝 we collected little treasures to use alongside the play doh. These are a bit amazing 😍

There's a new guy in town. Meet Archie, our border terrier puppy. He's settling in really well and the children have all been so good with him too. He's currently joining us out and about in a carrier. I'm not quite sure He's ready for our mammoth adventure walks.
