Pershore High School has been a comprehensive school since 1973 and as a good school with outstanding features, we became an Academy for 12 to 18 year olds on 1st July 2011. Inspectors commented that: ‘Behaviour and safety are outstanding; Students have good attitudes to learning and behave exceptionally well around the school. They have impeccable manners

and are extremely welcoming and polite to visitors; Students are proud to attend the school and many were keen to tell inspectors how much they are enjoying their time there.’

🎉 A Level Success 🎉

Pershore High School Sixth Form is celebrating another year of strong A Level outcomes, with students achieving excellent results across a wide range of subjects and demonstrating positive progress from their starting points.



An impressive 20% of grades were awarded at A or A*, 49% at A* to B and 77% achieving A* to C. A pass rate of 96% reflects the hard work and dedication of students and staff alike. Success was also seen in vocational subjects where 50% of grades were awarded at Distinction or above and 100% of students achieved at least a Pass.



Students are going on to some impressive and aspirational destinations. These include Cancer Sciences at Nottingham University, Finance with International Business at Reading University, Biomedical Science at Sheffield University, Geology at Plymouth University, Chemistry at Birmingham University and a range of degree apprenticeships in diverse subjects such as marketing and engineering.



Head of School, Andrew Nockton said "We are incredibly proud of our students and all that they have achieved. These results reflect years of hard work, commitment and resilience, supported by dedicated staff and families. It is particularly pleasing to see students making strong progress, alongside excellent attainment in subjects across our curriculum. We congratulate every student on their success and look forward to seeing them thrive in the next stage of their education, training or employment."

🎊 Happy Summer Holidays Y12🎊

Our Year 12 students were rewarded with a much-needed ice cream to celebrate successfully surviving their first year of A Level and what better way to enjoy it than in the sunshine!

We wish all of our Year 12 students the very best for their upcoming work experience. We hope they enjoy the opportunity to develop new skills, gain valuable insights into the world of work and explore their future aspirations.

Year 9 recently enjoyed a packed Wellbeing Morning with sessions including Smoothie making. Learning CPR, a drumming workshop and much enjoyed yoga! Run with tremendous support from Wychavon District Council the students appreciated building skills whilst having lots of fun. Thank you to the contributors.
