Calling all Creatives!
Extended closing date 16th May

Boot Up Outdoor Learning are seeking a part-time Creative Practitioner to work 1:1 with our vulnerable young people aged 8 -16yrs in our wonderful outdoor setting.

Supporting activities from nature-themed arts & crafts, nature studies, gardening, construction & carpentry and Forest School in an outdoor environment. Individuals with new ideas and practices are always welcome.

We welcome those who have great ideas and a strong portfolio in creative practices and/or Forest School training.

You will need to commit to a set day/days a week and be available TERM-TIME only on an agreed mix of Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9am-3pm.

The work is SESSIONAL and the perfect-person is expected to plan, run and facilitate their sessions.

£10 per hour for a maximum of 6 hour sessions (or part of). Applicants will be self-employed with a current UTR number. We also expect the candidate to have a current Enhanced DBS certificate although this can be organised for a small fee.

It’s time for summer salad!

Stall in lay by off A39 (Cornish Garden Nurseries/Olive Grove cafe), Perranarworthal.

The salad and herbs were planted by the children who attend Boot Up! Outdoor Learning, sadly due to the lockdown they did not get to taste and see their crops so we would like to sell what we have to raise money for the seeds for next year.

It's that time of year, the young people have been busy putting together their photographs, European gardens, planted wellies, gardens on a plate and loads loads more for this weekend! That's right, it's the return of the Falmouth Spring Flower Show this Saturday and Sunday at the Princess Pavilion. Come along and have a look at some of the amazing creations!
