Zimbabwe seems to produce really wonderful . This woman, Tabeth, was one of primary school teachers who came to have her teeth done at one of the free dental clinics we were providing. She really wanted me to visit her school so I got special permission to visit yesterday. It was such a positive experience, and I was very impressed with the maths they were doing even at Primary level. The playing field was way more interesting then British ones. As well as football nets where were three donkeys and a cow. 😊❤️

So elegant, and so hard to draw! On a free morning from helping the dental team we went on an early morning safari, and we saw so many giraffes, very peaceful, posing perfectly.

I never thought I’d ever get to see so many animals in the wild. Today has been a very special one and I feel so grateful… And thank goodness I brought my Inktense pencils and water brushes with me!

Nigel and I are here in Zimbabwe working with Smilestar dental charity, helping deliver free dental care for people who have no access to dentists. It’s very full-on work but great to be able to meet so many lovely people. The first photo of the lady with me is the lovely Florence. For the last two days we’ve been working in a camp in a forest. 🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼
