Woo-hoo, I got my certification! 🥳
Thanks to the lovely people at Vocal Health Education for a fascinating course. (All my lovely singers--you can blame VHE for me making you all learn how not to get soaked when making bubbles in water and for singing with your arms over your heads 🤪.)
Just saying 'I'm still alive and teaching'--albeit in Zoomland. But social media is tedious!
Hope all my lovely singing chums are happy and healthy. Soon time interact with REAL people 😱.
Carry on Singing! 💗

Welcome to my Zoomy studio! This is how I'll be staying in touch with all my lovely singers, students and choir. And yes, I know that's an inappropriate use for a snare drum! And no, I can't get onto the balcony without significant effort. Hmm, work in progress. What adjustments are other people making, I wonder? Good luck y'all! X
What strange times these are! Well, I have just moved all my students to online lessons to comply with UK government requirements. Wouldn't want anyone getting a singing-related arrest record and dying or killing someone else for the sake of one's voice is just a wee bit too dramatic. Thank you Zoom for making this possible. Thank you to my wonderful students for sticking with me.

This line right here (ca 2:43) is a really big deal for me, and many of us who are dyslexic in performing land. Thanks Kiera, I just did a little sigh of relief that it happens for you too! I doesn't have to stop us though.
