What a fantastic day everyone had for Break the Rules Day! 🎉

There was so much colour everywhere—odd socks, beautiful nails, and crazy hair in all sorts of amazing colours. Thank you to everyone for making such a brilliant effort and helping to create such a fun and memorable day.

Most importantly, together we raised lots of money for the school. Well done, everyone, and thank you for your support!

Blue Class have had a great first day at Camp Kernow! The children have thoroughly enjoyed showing off their impressive archery and climbing skills! Our chefs are currently cooking up a storm in the camp kitchen while the rest of the class refuse to give into tiredness with games of tag and bulldog in the sunshine!

Matilda last night was amazing: the adults spent two extremely late nights arranging alternative transport to make it happen - the tube strikes made it almost impossible to get back after the show until this point!
This morning we packed (suitcases bursting at the seams), had breakfast and headed off to the science museum. "Can we go to the gift shop," ringing out from every direction - Violet Class are officially shopaholics.
Budding scientists emerged from the museum, bags collected from the Youth Hostel, M&M bags collapsing left, right and centre... We finally made it to Paddington.
Armed with food, we boarded the train. Of course this was not without drama - a brand new, jolly expensive M&M World pillow floated solemnly to the tracks as one of our children pressed the button with the very arm holding the pillow! Mrs Stevenson was chasing dispatchers up the platform, Mrs Ellis hanging out of the train door ensuring they were looking in the right place and the dispatcher was wondering what all the fuss was about as he's clearly done this many times before.
The train left Paddington in time and we are on our way. I'm sure the children must be absolutely exhausted, but volume levels are certainly suggesting otherwise.

What a day! We visited Parliament and sat in the House of Commons and the House of Lords and listened to debates on current affairs. We walked through Trafalgar Square, saw Nelson"s Column and marches all the way to Pizza Express. We are currently resting our feet and filling our bellies before heading to the theatre - we can't wait for Matilda!

The children have blown us away this morning with their resilience and excellent behaviour on THE busiest train in the world! The tube strikes up here have meant that lots and lots of people are squeezing into the remaining lines open so we will be playing a game of sardines all day today.
It isn't even 10am, yet the shopping has already begun!
