Today we said goodbye to our wonderful Year 6 pupils and to some truly incredible families.
Sorry... there are no photos from today. We were all a little blurry-eyed by the end.
Your journey through primary school has been unlike any other. You missed so much of Reception and Year 1 because of the Covid lockdowns, yet you never let that define you. Instead, you have grown into a group of kind, resilient, funny and compassionate young people who are, without question, perfectly Nancledra.
You have supported one another through challenging times, celebrated each other's successes, picked each other up when life felt difficult, and shared more belly laughs than we could ever count. The friendships you have built are special because of everything you have experienced together. As you head off in different directions, we hope you hold on to those friendships and continue to look out for one another.
Never forget that Nancledra will always be your home. This will always be your safe placeβa school that is incredibly proud of you, that will always celebrate your achievements, and where you will always be welcomed with open arms.
Be brave enough to try new things, kind enough to make a difference, and confident enough to be yourselves. We cannot wait to see where your journeys take you, and we hope that a little piece of Nancledra will always be with you.
To your families, thank you for trusting us with your children. It has been a privilege to share this journey with you and to watch your children grow into the amazing young people they are today. We will miss you all, so please don't be strangers. Pop in, say hello, and keep us updated on your adventures.
You are all Nancledra sticks of rock - you belong here and are Nancledra through and through.
Wherever life takes you, you'll always carry a little piece of Nancledra with you, and a little piece of you will always remain here.
Once Nancledra, always Nancledra.
