Squirrel the Fox Childcare

Squirrel the Fox Childcare Formerly "Little Piglets" Childcare - Established 2006. We all hold Level 3 Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene certificates.

We are a small team of Mums working from a beautiful contemporary home with panoramic views of Mounts Bay. Squirrel the Fox is set in large mature gardens, complete with an orchard, meadows, a pond and a vegetable garden, in the village of Madron. Within our team, we have two qualified Teachers, a Level 3 and a Level 2 NVQ in Children's Care, Learning and Development and trained in Multi Agency Ch

ild Protection and Health and Safety. The emphasis here at Squirrels is on plenty of fresh air, with rich and varied learning experiences through play, all underpinned with routine and good manners, and in a happy, caring and fun-loving environment with cuddles a plenty! We also provide a fresh and home cooked meal at lunchtime around the table, daily milk and healthy fresh fruit and vegetable snacks throughout the day.

🌞 Dear Parents,

As we transition into the summer term, we want to ensure all our Squirrels are safe and protected from the sun. Please make sure your children come to Squirrels wearing sunscreen each day.

Additionally, we kindly ask that each child brings a named bottle of sunscreen for top-ups throughout the day.

We also request that your child brings in a sun hat and a UV sunsuit each day with long arms and legs to provide extra protection from the sun.
