On Wednesday, we will be supporting anti-bullying week by wearing odd socks to school. The theme is "Power for Good".

Please help us to support this important cause by wearing odd socks to school (all other school uniform to be worn as normal). This is part of our PSHE Jigsaw Puzzle 'Celebrating Difference'.

Today we introduced our five superhero learning traits: Partnership, Openness, Wonder, Exploration, and Resilience—the Pensilva POWERs! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

Children met the superheroes in a special assembly, then teamed up in house groups to harness their powers through exciting activities: tower building, decoding hieroglyphics, investigating mysterious objects, learning from each other, and creating paper chains of connection.

We ended the day by celebrating our first POWERful pupils—those who truly embodied these traits.

This week, Buzzards Class have been exploring the world of self-expression through mixed media collage, creating striking portraits of themselves that truly capture their individuality and creativity. Using a mix of textures, colours and materials, children have crafted a unique piece that reflects their personality and artistic flair. We think you’ll agree that these are eye-catching works of art that deserve to be celebrated!

The first couple of days back are done!

We’ve introduced our new school rules: Be Responsible, Be Respectful and Be Ready.

In assemblies, we used a sketchbook and a pencil case to bring the rules to life to life. Ask your child what how they link to the rules. You might be surprised by their answers!
