Exam technique is key to success in AQA GCSE Science.

I’m running 2 exam-focussed masterclasses over October half term to help prepare students for mocks exams, or just improve their overall exam technique.

Monday 26th: common questions in paper 1 (eg. Osmosis required practical: change in mass, mole calculations, the national grid. There are lots of questions that come up regularly and the mark schemes are very similar. We will go through many of them and your child will come away more prepared to answer them.

Wednesday 28th: exam technique to gain marks. We will improve skills such as correct use of keywords, understanding command words and how to structure 6 mark answers. This will be done with paper 1 topics so that we are simultaneously revising the relevant content.
