Year 4 had a wonderful time at Lowther for their Countryside Classroom day.
They had sessions learning about deer, rural crime, invertebrates, camouflage, the life of an oak tree, and the conservation of song birds and red squirrels.
They were commended for their excellent understanding of what plants need to thrive.
The trip was great for linking into the work on food chains and prehistoric life which we had been studying in school.
