Little Learners has had a makeover and is ready to go again in September!! Introducing Little Explorers - our new class for 18 months+ will run all year round with seasonal themes 🥰

Each session will involve messy play & crafts as well as a play in Little Eden, Penrith Stay & Play Cafe!!
As always, younger siblings are VERY welcome to come along BUT....
We've also launched 'Little Beginners' for our littlest visitors (0-18 months) - this will also be themed and all the activities will be age appropriate!!

If you've missed Little Learners over the summer or haven't yet visited us at Newton Rigg, I'd LOVE to see you all in September 📖✨✨

Little Explorers will run Wednesdays and Fridays at 9.30am 🥰

📚 A brand-new collaboration between Little Eden & Learning with Lucy! 📚

I'm so excited to introduce the Summer Reading Club – fun, small-group phonics and early reading sessions designed to build confidence and keep children engaged with learning over the summer ✨

These one hour sessions are perfect for children in Reception & KS1 who would benefit from a confidence boost before September.

✨ Reception Sound Explorers
A playful introduction to early reading, helping children develop confidence with sounds and blending through engaging, hands-on activities.

✨ KS1 Phonics Explorers
Fun, practical activities to reinforce phonics knowledge, build reading confidence and help children feel ready for the new school year.

Each session includes:
📖 Play-based phonics and reading activities
👩‍🏫 Small groups (maximum of 4 children)
🌟 Individual support tailored to each child’s stage
💚 A relaxed, encouraging environment

💷 £17.50 per session or 2 sessions for £30

Spaces are intentionally limited to just four children per group, ensuring every child receives plenty of support and encouragement.

Join us at Little Eden for a relaxed, imaginative early years session.

This week is all about Terrific Transport – expect a fun, hands-on session filled with exciting activities, sensory exploration and plenty of opportunities for little ones to learn through play.

Children can enjoy a variety of transport-inspired play activities, including floating boats in water play, foam clouds for planes to fly through, creative crafts, and LOTS of toy vehicles to explore and play with. There’ll even be a special boat-themed snack for little ones to enjoy 🚤☁️

These sessions are £8 and are designed for children 18m+ but younger siblings are very welcome to come along and explore our new baby area for £3.50 – siblings under 6 months are free!

This week is all about Dinosaur Discoveries – expect a fun, hands-on session filled with exciting activities, sensory exploration and plenty of opportunities for little ones to learn through play.

Children can enjoy a variety of dinosaur-inspired play activities, including dinosaur handprints, rescue the dinos from the ice, dinosaur paint stamps and dino world role play! All designed to spark your little ones curiosity, imagination and early development.

Oh and don't forget Lucy's themed snacks at Little Learners - what will she create this week?! 🤔
