The children at Little Oaks have been designing their Easter Bonnets, Now it's the grown ups turn to help pick and vote for your winner. The one (from each room) with the most likes will win an Easter Prize. So get sharing with family and friends and cast that vote/like.

Last week we celebrated World Book Day. All week the children explored various activities based around different books, and we enjoyed reading the children's favourite books from home.

We have nominations in:
1 - Nursery of the Year
2 - Practitioner of the Year.

What a fantastic Wednesday morning we have all had at Little Oaks, we were all very excited by the arrival of the Fire Engine 🚒 and the Fire Fighters, we all enjoyed having the opportunity to climb into the Fire Engine 🚒 and explore all the different equipment e.g. torch 🔦 helmets ⛑ & jackets, we were also very lucky to press the button to sound the siren 🚨 and make the lights flash.
One of the Fire Fighters asked us if we would like to hold the hose in our hands to sq**rt some water 💧 we all shouted “yes please”
We each took turns at holding the hose & sq**rting the water, we even sq**rted the ladies with the water, it was very funny 🤣🤣 we all laughed & giggled.
What a lovely morning we all had, the children were all so well behaved, well done everybody, thank so much to the Penrith Fire Station Fire Fighters. 😀

We would like to say good luck to all our school leavers, who start there first full week at school and wish them all the best, we know you will smash it and all have a fantastic time learning new things and making some amazing new friends.

We would just like to say thank you to all the Parents who attended our open day, it was fantastic to see you all and have a catch up. We hope you had a great time seeing where the children play and watching them engage with their friends. We look forward to seeing you next time.

We are going to be holding an open day at nursery on Saturday 9th August 2025, 11am - 1pm

Giving new and existing parents the opportunity to come and see what we get up to and have a look around the nursery and see the newly refurbished and improved outside spaces and of course giving you the chance to engage with our fabulous team and ask any questions you might have.

We hope to make it a fun time and will have a few games for the children to engage with, some arts and crafts areas and a tattoo stall and some lovely cakes and drinks available.
