A huge well done to our cross country runners from years 2-6 who volunteered to represent us at our first sporting event of the year today! They all got stuck in, had a ‘can do’ attitude and cheered each other on! Well done everyone - a brilliant start to our sporting year at Beaconside! ⭐️💙

🌟 Welcome, Reception 2026/2027! 🌟

What an amazing start our new reception starters have had! They have done incredibly well during their first few transitions sessions and we are already so proud of you all!

We’ve had lots of giggles, beautiful drawings and some wonderful independence!

There’s so much more to come, and we can’t wait to see all the wonderful learning, friendships and adventures this year will bring! 🌈 ⭐️ ✨

Over the summer holidays, year 1 at Beaconside has had a bit of a make over! We will now be operating using classrooms for formal learning and a continuous provision room for exploring, following interests and learning through play. Everyone… welcome to the Discovery Den! We thought we’d give you a sneak peek and also show you how much our new year 1 children enjoyed using it today!💙🍁 🧱🧑‍🍳🧸🪀🚂

We had a great day back today and it was lovely to see all of the children and hear about all of their exciting adventures over the holidays. 🏔️ ⚽️ 🏖️ 🏄‍♂️ 🎁 🤿 🚴🏽‍♂️ 🤹‍♀️ 🎫 🎮 🎼 🏎️ ✈️ ⛪️ 🗽 🗼 (and more!)

Can we please remind families to make sure children have coats and wellies for school.

A quick reminder that we are back in school tomorrow for our first day of the Autumn Term! We can’t wait to see you all and get started on another fantastic year at Beaconside! Parents, please check your emails for details of doors, gates and entrances for tomorrow. There will be plenty of staff on gates and doors to point you in the right direction so please don’t worry.

Is your little one starting Reception this September?

We still have a few spaces left at our School Starter Stay & Play Socials throughout summer at Little Eden.

🌼 Your child can meet some of their new classmates before the first day.
☕ You can enjoy a coffee and a chat with other parents you’ll soon be seeing on the school run.
🧸 A relaxed, friendly environment with plenty of play to help everyone feel that little bit more familiar before September.

Starting school is a big milestone (for children and parents) and we’d love to help make that first day feel just a little less daunting.
