Welcome to my page which along with my website, launched on the 1st August 2013.

Born in Macclesfield and now reside in the Lake District. I am a self taught photographer, I first picked up a compact camera in 2003. The following year having realised this was my passion, I upgraded to an SLR. Since then I have worked my way through many of the different aspects of photography, gainin

g experience and experimenting with new cameras & lenses. My photography is inspired by historic urban sites, beautiful landscapes, wildlife & nature in the UK and beyond.

I worked in Advertising & Print for 11 years before starting my own business which was called stroon in 2005, a gallery, vinyl & vintage store in Manchester's Northern Quarter. As of January 2014 i re-launched my business under the new name of Big Exposure Print where i offer large format print such as high quality photographic prints, canvases, posters, digital wallpaper, pop up displays & banners. In addition i also offer litho print such as business cards, flyers, leaflets, brochures etc. Together with my wife Sharon, we opened a gallery in Hayfield, Lomas & Lomas in August 2015. As well as being an outlet of my photography, it was also an outlet for our interior range of products which all stem from my photography. We closed the the gallery in March 2020 to follow our dream of living in the Lakes. Thank you for taking an interest in my photography and i hope you enjoy looking through my work.
