Hospital trip after Caio threw himself off a scooter.

This boy has done so fantastically with his toilet training. Honestly - 6 months ago I’d never have dreamed he’d be able to do it. But something clicked in me and I thought ITS TIME. Massively helped by the fact he was in a school setting that could support us.

Started off with a timer. Toilet every 30 minutes. No exceptions. That was hard to juggle with the other boys too but we pushed through. This continued for about 3-4 days. Until we gradually increased the time between going.

I’d go as far as saying he is now fully successful. Day and night. For p*e & p**p. He’s even mastered using his voice to ask us to ‘open the gate I need a bathroom’ (baby gate for toddler child at bottom of the stairs). We couldn’t be prouder of him.

Yes there’s been moments where I have got stressed and shouted (the main one being him p*eing himself on my sofa 3 times in one day because he couldn’t drag himself away from the tv for 5 minutes 😂). Which resulted in me banning the tv remote from him for the rest of the day. Turns out it worked because he’s not done it since!

I want this to bring hope & motivation to all the SEN parents that used to be me. Drowning in deliveries of huge pull-ups! With no end in sight.

Solo trip to Llandudno with all three of the as****es to go to the toy shop.

Hari in his ear defenders & lanyard with Apple tag attached. Looking proper disabled 😂 but I mean at least if he f***s off I’ll be able to find him. Also helpful when he decides to walk out the busy lift and just sit on the floor blocking everyone’s way so he can push his eyeball and visually stim at the ceiling.

Thomas my angel child. Only and I repeat ONLY when we are going to a shop. Especially a toy one. Don’t hear a p*ep outta him. Holds my hand. Picks a toy. Takes it to pay. Even happily brushed his teeth before leaving the house which is unheard of 😂

Tedi. Usual. Thug. BUT will sit in the pram contentedly - shouting hi at everyone. The naughtiest boy in the world but we get in the toy shop and what does he choose to get ? A baby dolly. And a bottle. Then he sits it next to him in the pram and feeds it. Honest to god.

We even managed a pit stop at the sweet shop where they each chose a small bag, paid, then sat on the bench to eat them. All before we got in the lift to the car and Tedi pressed the emergency button. If anyones interested in what happens… a fire alarm type bell rung. That’s it… but at the same time I screamed NOOOOOO and Tedi burst into hysterical tears.

Happy Tuesday. How many days left till school ? ゚viral

Honestly they should have all been sleeping but hearing the unusual sound of Hari & Tedi giggling together made me curious so I went to inspect and nearly cried 🥹😭 when positive interactions are rare it makes them sooooo much more special!

Absolutely fabulous staff member at the shop in going the extra mile with Hari and allowing him to help her scan the items through! Hari is autistic and doesn’t always understand the social rules & norms. Off he went straight behind the till an our initial ‘oh no’ turned into such a lovely interaction for him ❤️

Recorded this this morning trying to show how Hari watches tv. And why he’s rarely allowed the remote of the main tv! Only when watching it back did I notice the other aspects that represent my sh*tshow life 🤣
