We are part of a friendly, happy community where everyone is encouraged to shine and succeed. Small, village primary school in Cumbria with a nursery, breakfast and after school club. Open from 8am until 6pm Monday to Friday.

Sports Day 2026! The sunshine certainly turned up, and so did the enthusiasm! From competitive races and determined tug of war teams to watering the teacher, the day was packed with fun, laughter and brilliant team spirit. It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, supporting one another and enjoying a day of healthy competition. A huge well done to all of our pupils and thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a great success! Special shout out to Ullswater Community College student who helped put all day and were superb ambassadors for their school.

This really was The Greatest Show! 🌟
A huge congratulations to all of our KS2 children who performed The Greatest Showman twice today. Stepping onto a stage takes incredible courage, and while it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, every single child embraced their role and helped make the performance truly spectacular. From the very first note to the final bow, they proved that “this is where they’re meant to be.” We couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them.

The Discoverers have kicked off their residential trip in style, spending time bouncing and exploring the Tree Top Nets Brockhole on Windermere. Their faces lit up with excitement and joy as they embraced the adventure. We think a few members of staff may have had just as much fun!
