🍁Family fun in the mixed autumn weather🍁
Sean had the absolute pleasure of taking out a lovely Dutch family visiting Ullswater.

We did one of the Angle Tarn Pikes, a bite to eat by Angle Tarn, then watched and heard the deer 🦌 Plenty of noise over there! We got reasonably close to a harem by Heck Head which the kids were very excited about. The kids also had a little go at map reading which they did great at 🧭

Two of our guides had a fun time supporting the ADIDAS walk to promote their new Terrex shoes last weekend. Hiking Highs loved the trip to Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Here's their report 🌿
We had a lovely sunny walk with 21 people plus Barney, Walter and 2 filming people. We were made really welcome by the staff at Tiso and Terrex. Quick gear talk and some photos and off we went. Max (Hiking Highs) did an ace job navigating us through busy streets to Calton Hill and Arthur’s Seat. We had lots of lovely chats with the group about mountains and kit and life! Some had lived in or near Edinburgh for a long time, some were students who had just moved there, some were from further afield. Did some geology chat on Sailsbury Crags and Arthur’s Seat. Had some more photos. We all regrouped towards the bottom and had coffee and buns courtesy of Primus. As far as I’m concerned this should be how all walks end!
Fair to say a great day was had by all 👟

We must've seen over 50 Red Deer on yesterday's dawn walk. We are going out again this Sunday (a little later in the day). Information to follow - this really is a must see and hearing the stags bellowing across the valley is quite something 🦌

Nic had an amazing run out yesterday with friends, checking on the deer and where they are... glorious sun, mezmerising colours, binoculars to the ready!

🦌The deer were in full voice, although rather sporadically, as they begin this wonderful autumn ritual. Dawn and dusk are the best time to listen, watch and absord the rutting energy; treading with care and choosing the best spots, hiding our silhouettes from their eyes...
