School days can be busy! So it’s lovely to give our children the chance to get outside, catch up with friends, and run off some energy. Our walks alongside swimming sessions have been a wonderful opportunity for fresh air, a chance to slow down a little and even see who can clear the biggest of puddles!

Our very own Mrs D is taking on the Yorkshire Marathon in just three weeks’ time! She is raising money to be split between our school and another local school, helping to provide much needed SEND resources. If you’d like to support her and find out a little more about her story, please take a look at the link below.
Good luck, Mrs D, we’ll be cheering you on! 🏅

Yesterday , class one experimented with colour mixing and what better way to do it than with their hands! 🙌

Each child was given a red hand and a yellow hand. They rubbed their hands together and watched the colours mix… and discovered that red + yellow = ORANGE! 🧡
A fun, hands on way to explore colour.

Today, Class 2 had a wonderful visit from Claire's Cool Creatures, and what an exciting experience it was!
The children had the opportunity to see and even touch a fantastic variety of animals. There was lots of excitement, curiosity and plenty of smiles as they learned fascinating facts about each of the animals and discovered more about how they live and what makes them special.
