Top Grades Shine Across Subjects at The Maelor School, Penley
Pupils and staff at The Maelor School, Penley are celebrating an excellent set of GCSE results, with outstanding achievements across a range of subjects and a significant number of the school's grades awarded at the highest levels.

Headteacher Leanne Eyre said:
"We are absolutely delighted with this year's GCSE results and immensely proud of each and every one of our pupils. Their achievements are the culmination of tremendous hard work, resilience and determination, and the support of our fantastic staff who should feel equally as proud today.”

“When you work alongside young people every day, you see the huge amount of pressure they feel during exam time. It is even more rewarding when you know that, behind many of today’s fantastic results, are individual stories of amazing young adults who have had to overcome real challenges to achieve what they have.”

“Today is not just about celebrating academic success but also the success that our pupils have had in being kind, mature and good-humoured individuals who are ready for the next stage of their learning. I feel immensely proud of how these pupils have developed during their time at The Maelor School and of everything they have accomplished along the way.”
