As Theo prepares to leave us and begin an exciting new chapter at high school, we are delighted to be able to recognise an incredible achievement before he goes.

Theo has proudly represented the England Deaf Football Team, an outstanding accomplishment that reflects his dedication, talent, hard work, and determination. We are incredibly proud of all that he has achieved and the fantastic role model he has been.

Theo, you should be very proud of yourself. We have loved watching your success and cannot wait to see what you achieve in the future.

We have had some very creative entries to the PMS logo art competition, it was really difficult for us to choose an overall winner.

After asking staff to help Mrs Wheat decide it was agreed that the overall winner was Connie in Year 7, runner ups were Jacoby in Year 5 and Rupert in Year 5. The winner and 2 runner ups work will be on permanent display and prizes will be given to them by Friday. There will also be a display in September for all of the designs as they were all fantastic!

The sunshine matched the mood today as Year 8 threw themselves into Leavers Day with all the energy, humour, and heart that has made them such a standout cohort. You’ve been a truly special year group, and it was a joy to give you a send‑off worthy of everything you’ve brought to Penkridge Middle School.

✅ Epic sports, big moments, and fierce determination ⚽️

☀️ Warm Weather This Week ☀️

With the warm weather set to continue this week, pupils are welcome to attend school in their PMS PE kit for the entire week if they choose.

Please remember:
🧢 A hat or cap for outdoor activities
💧 A named water bottle every day
🧴 Sun cream applied before school (and brought in if reapplication is needed)
👕 This must be the correct PMS PE kit

We will continue to encourage pupils to stay hydrated and make use of shade where possible.

Reminder that school finishes on Friday at 1pm and there will be no PMS Hub.

And that's a wrap on our Year 6 residential! 🌟

This morning, the children enjoyed their final round of activities, putting everything they had learned over the last two days into practice. It was fantastic to see how much their confidence, resilience and teamwork had grown, with everyone embracing the challenges and supporting one another right to the very end.

After a final lunch together, we're now packed up and getting ready to head home. We can't wait to share more stories from a truly memorable trip. See you all soon! 🚍😊

Another brilliant afternoon of adventure! 🌟

This afternoon brought even more opportunities to challenge ourselves, from balancing on the low ropes and testing our memory skills to tackling team challenges and learning new skills. It was wonderful to see the children encouraging one another, showing resilience and growing in confidence throughout the day.

After some well-earned free time to play and another delicious meal, everyone is now tucked up in bed, ready for a good night's sleep before our final activities tomorrow morning. 😊🏕️

What a fantastic morning of adventure! 🌞

Year 6 have been busy taking on raft building, the gladiator wall, the sensory trail and survival skills. Throughout every activity, they have shown excellent teamwork, communication and co-operation. They've supported one another, overcome obstacles and conquered their fears with determination and resilience.

Now it's time to refuel with a well-earned lunch before this afternoon's adventures! 💪🛶🌲
