📚✨ SOMETHING COMPLETELY NEW IS COMING TO PENISTONE.

We're looking for just six young people who'd love to create something entirely their own.

Over six weeks, they'll develop their idea, create characters and worlds, write, edit and design their story — with expert guidance throughout from a qualified English teacher.

And at the end?

They'll hold their own professionally produced hardback book. 📖

No set story. No “right” answer.

Mystery? Adventure? Fantasy? Sci-fi? Sport? Comedy? Something completely different?

It’s their story.

Today Dan and Itziar were invited onto BBC Radio Leeds to talk about The Clara & Lumi Collection and the real family stories, memories and places that inspired it.

And Pen*stone has its own place in Clara's adventures through Volume 2 — The Secret of Pen*stone Bridge.

What began as a way of preserving family stories for baby Clara has grown into an entire collection of magical adventures — and today its story made it onto BBC Radio Leeds.

Daniel and Itziar will be joining Dixie live at around 12:15pm today to talk about The Clara & Lumi Collection and the real family stories behind the adventures.

And Pen*stone has a particularly special place in that story. ❤️

One of Clara's first adventures, The Secret of Pen*stone Bridge, grew from her own family's connections and memories here — turning a real place and family history into part of Clara's magical world.

After the first hardbacks arrived this weekend, today Daniel and Itziar are taking some of them into the BBC studio. 📚📻

A lovely local story to share from Pen*stone Education Hub today ❤️📚

Our Daniel and his newborn daughter Clara are featured in Huddersfield Hub with The Clara & Lumi Collection — 16 children's adventures inspired by Daniel and Itziar's real family history.

Pen*stone has a particularly special place in the collection. It was here that the idea really began, with Clara's Great-Grandma Mandy and the family's stories becoming part of the adventures.

The books take Clara from Yorkshire to northern Spain and beyond, mixing real family memories, people and places with a little bit of magic along the way. ⭐

Hopefully they'll inspire other children to ask their own parents and grandparents about the stories in their families too.
