One whole year of Little Ray of Sunshine Daycare 🌞 ☀️ 💛

What a crazy year its been but THE most rewarding!

None of this would have been possible without all of our hard working, dedicated staff that go above and beyond for all our little people 💙

We cant wait to see what the next year at Little Rays brings 😍

We hope you have all had a great time spending time over the holidays with your little children.
We can’t wait to have you all back. When we open we will have been opened a year on Tuesday. How we have flourished from just a few staff and children to now having 11 wonderful staff who love looking after your children day in and out and watch them grow.
Just a polite reminder to the parents that we are now using the back entrance of the nursery.
Please follow the arrows and it will guide to the entrance.
We have Ofsted this week. Once we get our results we will be able to share them with you. 🌈⭐️

We would like to say a massive congratulations to one of our staff members and her husband ….Kelly and Matt. They have had their beautiful bundle of joy yesterday. Baby Arla Rae June Kelemen was born yesterday by c section weighing 6lb 9oz. We all can’t wait for snuggles. See you soon.

Leavers of 2026 ❤️

This week is the last official week of term and that means that our lovely pre-schoolers are leaving us 😢

We are so proud of you boys, whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or you joined us later on. We know all 3 of you will flourish at big school and we are honoured to have been a part of your journey!

This also means the end of the first academic year at Little Rays…. How?!?!

We would like to thank all our families are making our first year such a huge success and an even bigger than you to our amazing staff team, who work hard each and every day for all our Little Rays Family!

With the current heatwave, this parenting hack is everywhere: give your child a cool bath and let them soak for 20 minutes before getting them ready for bed.

Now who doesn’t welcome a nice cool bath at the end of a long hot day?

But please don’t forget the risk of drowning. Stay with them whilst they soak.

⚠️ Babies and toddlers can drown in very little water
⚠️ Drowning is silent, so you won’t hear them splashing about or crying out if they get into difficulties.
⚠️ Bath seats are not safety devices. They can topple or your baby can slip out.

Which means you can’t pop out, even for a second. So no grabbing a towel, setting up a fan in the bedroom or getting on with chores while they’re having their long soak.

You need to stay with them all the time they’re in the bath.

Keep little ones within arm’s reach to keep them safe. And if you need to go anywhere, take them out of the bath and with you.
