A huge variety of acts, community organisations, music and much more 🎊

Save the date! 14th June 2026 🗓️

Carnival theme for 2026 🎪🎈🎡🎠 Pen*stone Mayors Parade and Gala 2023

For the last 20 years, volunteers from Pen*stone Round Table, Pen*stone Scouts, Pen*stone Town Council, Pen*stone Ladies Circle and Tangent and Pen*stone FM organise and deliver Pen*stone Mayors Parade and Gala Weekend. The event is delivered solely by volunteers with the mission to give the community of Pen*stone and the surrounding areas a day to enjoy. This year we start the Gala Festivities on 10th June with a musical spectacular in the Pen*stone Paramount, followed by a Parade and Gala day on 11th June. We are looking for local community groups and schools to get involved, runners, stalls, sideshows, local bands, musicians and talent, vehicle and walking floats for our parade and volunteers to help out. The aim is to make the weekend something that the whole community can enjoy and be proud of. To get involved visit our web page www.pen*stonegala.co.uk for details and how to contact us. CALLING PEOPLE OF PENISTONE & SURROUNDING AREAS - WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Many of you may know about the lovely event we throw every year, a community event to bring our little town together and have a fabulous day out with friends and family. But we need your help..We are a very small group of volunteers who work extremely hard to put this wonderful event on each year. But the sad reality is that we are struggling. Our numbers have seriously dwindled over the years and we are facing a decision of whether or not we are even able to throw the event next year due to the lack of volunteers.
This is where you come in…we are looking for volunteers to help us organise the event, you can donate as little or as much time as you can to help us make decisions around the event, put things in place and help the event go ahead. If you would like to help..our next meeting is on the 12/10/2026 at 7pm at St John’s Community Centre. We could really love it if you could come ☺️

For an informal chat please drop us a message to find out more ❤️

Just a little reminder about the new route we started last year. This is due to walking floats and little ones dancing in the parade needing a shorter route 👬👭👫
