Do I have to pay when my child is on holidays? Yes, in order to keep your child’s place. Do I have to pay when my child is ill and cannot attend? Yes, we ask parents to ring/message and let us know if your child cannot attend, unfortunately fees still need to be paid. Does cylch accept any childcare vouchers? Yes, we are registered to accept some childcare vouchers and are happy to register with any additional voucher schemes. Does cylch offer the 30 hours Childcare offer? Yes, parents need to contact RCT once their children turn 3 for the term after their 3rd birthday. Parents need to provide staff with the acceptance letter from RCT so that we can register them on our system. What qualifications do your staff have? Our management staff hold a level 5 in childcare. Our staff hold a level 3 or equivalent in childcare. Our staff also have paediatric first aid, safeguarding and food hygiene certificates.

And attend additional training opportunities annually to continue our professional development. How will I know my child is safe at nursery? No access to the meithrin room is permitted to anyone who is unknown to us. We have a keypad system on the door for staff to enter. There is also cctv surveillance at the centre. All staff have enhanced criminal record bureau check. Will I know what my child has done during the day at cylch meithrin? We give daily updates on our class dojo app. Parents are invited to join when their child starts and can contact staff at any time on there, as well as discuss targets and development. My child has a food allergy will you be able to cater for them? We have a lot of experience with dealing with different dietary requirements, when your child starts you will be asked to complete a registration pack which includes details of any allergies or intolerances. We may ask you to provide certain foods for them. For sessional care we provide a snack and a drink, however for full day care you must provide your child with packed lunch which we store in the refrigerator. All staff have attended epipen training. What happens if I can’t get to pick my child up? If you know someone different is collecting your child please let staff know, their details should already be known to staff via the registration pack. What happens if I’m delayed collecting my child? We understand that occasionally there may be traffic issues or problems at work which may cause you to be delayed. In this instance please let staff know ASAP so that we can make arrangements for staff to stay behind. Extra charges may be incurred. Do the children wear a uniform? We do have a uniform that is optional, but is highly recommended as we get messy and encourages belonging and readiness for school. What does my child need to bring? Please include nappies, wipes, nappy bags, creams or medications, drinks bottle, packed lunch if staying all day. Spare clothing, waterproofs and wellies. Please where possible have names on everything! A carrier bag with all inside with a name written on is ideal �
