🌟 GCSE Results 2026 🌟

We are immensely proud of every one of you. Your determination, resilience and hard work have truly paid off.
We are delighted to share that this year’s Level 2 and Level 2+ results have increased, alongside a rise in the number of A* and A grades achieved across the year group. Also that no student left without a qualification. This is a fantastic accomplishment and reflects the dedication shown by our students throughout their GCSE journey.
There have also been some outstanding individual successes, with a number of students achieving an exceptional set of results consisting entirely of A and A grades*.
Once again, students sitting the Skills Challenge Certificate have excelled, with 29% of students achieving A* or A grades and 100% achieving A*-C grades. This is a tremendous achievement and one that all involved should be incredibly proud of.
These successes would not have been possible without the support of so many people. A heartfelt thank you goes to our dedicated teaching and support staff for their unwavering encouragement and commitment, as well as to parents and carers for the invaluable support they have provided throughout the years.
We look forward to welcoming many of our students back in September as members of the Pencoed Comprehensive School Sixth Form. For those moving on to college, apprenticeships or employment, we wish you every success and happiness in your next chapter. Please keep in touch and remember that you will always belong to the Pencoed family.
