SELCA’S SUMMER PARTY 2026 🧚🏼🌞🍋

What an enchanting day we had at our Fairytale Summer Party!🦄

Our nursery was transformed into a magical fairytale wonderland💕

From creating magical wands 🪄 and mighty swords ⚔️ to designing our very own masks 🎭 enjoying fabulous face painting 🎨 making our own lemonade 🍋🫧 and capturing special memories in our photo booth - there was something magical around every corner!

And let’s not forget.. we stuffed our faces with some YUMMY FOOD! 🍉🧁🥕🍓🥪

Everyone looked absolutely AMAZING in their fairytale costumes and seeing beautiful smiles and excitement made the day a whole lot more special!😭🥰🙌🏽

A big well done to our wonderful Nursery Cook, Gracie, who received the best news over the weekend! 🎉
Sadly, she’ll be leaving us to pursue her dream career at university. We’re so proud of her and wish her every success as she takes this exciting next step.
Thank you for all the delicious meals you’ve provided for us and for everything you’ve done. You’ll be very much missed!

In scrubs VS out of scrubs!✨

Chloe is an extremely hardworking member of staff. Her dedication and commitment never goes unnoticed and she continently goes above and beyond to ensure everything is running smoothly. Chloe is a fantastic role model to both children and staff and we feel lucky to have her as part of the team.

With her fantastic attitude and excellent use of initiative, we’re never in doubt that no task, responsibility or routine will be left incomplete when it’s down to Chloe. Her determination and willingness to help others make such a positive difference to our Nursery.

One thing we love about Chloe? Her mindset.. she simply just gets on with it! Chloe is someone our team can rely on and she leads by example through her hard work and dedication.

Well maybe not quite, but it is when it comes to learning for our little ones. Besides teaching our children the magic of words, the alphabet and letter association supports learning in so many fun ways! ⭐️

🤓Helps build memory through repetition
🫧Develops listening skills
😌Supports language development
✏️Prepares them for writing!

Mixed aged play is an important tool that both younger and children take learnings from 🐨🩰🐛🍓👑🦋
While younger children begin to mirror the behaviours of older children, it’s the older children that adopt leadership abilities while improving communication and empathy skills.

If you look hard enough, there is learning in everything!!! ⭐️⭐️
