We've been so excited to welcome students into school today to receive their GCSE results. 🎉

Today’s results are a fantastic achievement for our Year 11 students and their teachers, with 68% of grades at A*-A and 86% at A*-B.

What’s particularly exciting is the strength of the results in STEM, with 72% A*-A in STEM subjects, including 83% A*-A in Mathematics and 50% of Physics entries alone achieving A*.

These results come from the first cohort to complete Westbourne’s industry-led Senior School curriculum, which brings together academic learning, career mentoring and real-world exposure through unique initiatives including our Global Industry Speakers Programme, Future Leaders Lab, and cutting-edge technology.

From AI and nuclear energy to biomedical science and finance, students are already seeing how their learning connects to future opportunities.

We're so proud of our Year 11 students for securing a fantastic set of GCSE results today, with particularly stand-out performances in STEM:

🧪 72% A*-A in STEM subjects

📐 83% A*-A in Mathematics

⚛️ 50% A* in Physics alone

🎓 68% A*-A overall

In a Westbourne first, these results come from the inaugural Year 11 cohort to complete our sector-leading industry-led Senior School curriculum - connecting academic achievement with the skills, experiences and opportunities students need for the careers of tomorrow.

We’re incredibly proud of our Sixth Form students, who have once again achieved outstanding results, with 1 in 3 scoring 40+ IB Diploma points (surpassing A*A*A*A* at A Level) - placing them in the top 2% of IB students worldwide.

These exceptional results see our students progress to world-leading universities, including Imperial College London, UCL, King’s College London, and the London School of Economics 🎓

A special congratulations to Gleb and Ignas, who both achieved a truly impressive 44 out of 45 points 🌟

Our Prep After School Lego Club is back in full swing, and the children didn’t waste any time building and creating some fantastic designs! We’re really looking forward to seeing what they create over the coming weeks.

From Parkour to Football, Clay, Gardening, Spanish, Crafts, Singing, Dance, Karate and so much more, there's lots for the students to explore this term.
