Red Class had a fantastic day at the local nature reserve, Pwllcrochan! The children thoroughly enjoyed pond dipping, where they discovered newts, dragonfly and damselfly nymphs, fish, and a variety of other pond creatures. 🦎 🐟 🪰
They also explored the woodland, taking part in tree identification and leaf rubbing activities while learning more about the natural environment around them. 🌳🍃

Learners from Year 5 and 6 are very grateful for the opportunity provided by Forever 11 Charity and Paddle West to complete their water safety yesterday. It was the perfect weather to be on the water learning life skills. Here are some photos from the morning session. Photographs from the afternoon session to follow. 🛶

A huge thank you to the Port of Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire Coast and Pembrokeshire Outdoor Schools - Ysgolion Awyr Agored Sir Benfro for giving a group of pupils the opportunity to attend their ‘Waterway Trip’ on Monday. This was a fantastic opportunity to build on their geographical understanding of the waterway, see the industries that utilise the river and look at leisure, wildlife and sustainability. The learners also gained knowledge of a whole range of career opportunities that they never knew existed.

☀️☀️Due to the warm weather, we have decided to give the children a chance to cool down in the sun while having fun and bring our water fight forward to tomorrow. If children have a water gun, please could they bring one to school, if not we will find a suitable alternative. Children can bring a change of clothes and a towel. ☀️☀️Thank you ☀️☀️

What a classroom for the day. Huge thank you to Mr Hughes and the Scarlets for organising a fun filled day of beach rugby. Super proud of the Priory team competing fairly and with passion, despite the heat and soft sand. They all enjoyed a cool off in the sea and a lolly on the way home.
